We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional IT support to ensure smooth operations for local and remote workstations. This is an onsite role requiring your presence five days a week.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Deliver prompt and efficient IT support to address technical issues and minimize disruption.<br>• Manage and respond to incoming support tickets through the Service Desk system.<br>• Prioritize and resolve tickets systematically, ensuring urgent matters are handled first.<br>• Adjust configurations, utilities, and software settings for both local and remote systems.<br>• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of IT processes and resolution methods.<br>• Collaborate on special projects to enhance IT services and infrastructure.
<p>This role is a 3rd shift role - Onsite - 11PM - 7AM</p><p><br></p><p>The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the operation of Client Server platforms (i.e. central console, on-line terminals, etc.)</p><p>Essential Generic Job Functions (List in order of importance):</p><p>• Identifies, analyzes, and solves technical problems to ensure optimal performance.</p><p>• Hands on within the data center doing cabling and rack and stack</p><p>• Responds to customer problems and complaints.</p><p>• Assesses performance and makes recommendations for change based on company needs and goals.</p><p>• Designs monitoring tools to detect and report on system performance.</p><p>• Troubleshoots and provides support to users.</p><p>• Maintains necessary production journal and control log(s).</p><p>• Maintains operation records of machine utilization, PMs and/or equipment repairs.</p><p>• Preforms and verifies backup procedures for related solutions as per defined policies and procedures.</p><p>• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.</p><p>Lifts a minimum of 25 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 25 lbs. and stands a minimum of 2 hours a day.</p>
Key Responsibilities<br>Lead the design and architecture of enterprise network environments with a strong emphasis on Palo Alto firewalls (PAN-OS, Panorama, Prisma Access)<br>Define and enforce network security architecture standards, policies, and best practices<br>Architect secure network segmentation, zero trust models, and advanced threat prevention strategies<br>Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve network performance, scalability, and security posture<br>Collaborate with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to align network architecture with business objectives<br>Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers and operations teams<br>Oversee firewall rulebase design, optimization, and governance (not just approvals—ownership)<br>Lead incident response efforts related to network security and drive root cause analysis<br>Ensure high availability and disaster recovery design across network environments<br>Required Qualifications<br>8+ years of experience in network engineering/architecture roles<br>Deep expertise with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (next-gen firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect)<br>Proven experience designing complex, enterprise-scale network architectures<br>Strong understanding of routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.)<br>Experience with network security principles (segmentation, IDS/IPS, VPNs, zero trust)<br>Hands-on experience with firewall migrations, upgrades, and large-scale deployments<br>Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions<br>Preferred Qualifications<br>Palo Alto certifications (PCNSE strongly preferred)<br>Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native security controls<br>Familiarity with SASE frameworks, including Prisma Access or similar solutions<br>Experience with automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform) for network configuration<br>Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOC2)<br>Exposure to multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet)
