Responsibilities:• Prepare and oversee the filing of SEC reports, including Form 10-K and Form 10-Q, ensuring accuracy and compliance.• Manage the preparation of financial statements and coordinate activities during the close process.• Support audits for benefit plans, such as the 11K audit, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.• Address complex accounting areas, including derivatives, pensions, transactional accounting, and technical research for mergers and acquisitions.• Collaborate with analysts and offshore teams to ensure seamless integration and reporting processes.• Utilize systems such as SAP S/4HANA and Workiva to streamline reporting and technical accounting functions.• Conduct research and provide guidance on technical accounting issues, particularly in areas of joint venture integrations.• Maintain efficiency during peak reporting periods, such as quarter-end and year-end cycles.• Manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering collaboration and high performance.• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements through meticulous oversight.
