This long-term 100% remote contract position involves supporting backend lab and infrastructure operations to ensure secure, efficient, and automated systems for internal teams in a dynamic development environment. The role requires a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced setting.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Design and build Azure Data Explorer (ADX) dashboards backed by advanced KQL queries</li><li>Develop and optimize complex KQL, including cross-cluster joins and large-scale query performance tuning</li><li>Troubleshoot query latency, ingestion issues, and data modeling challenges</li><li>Support monitoring and analytics for bare metal and hybrid environments using Azure Arc and Azure Monitor Agent (AMA)</li><li>Implement secure access patterns using managed identities and federated identity authentication</li><li>Build automation using Azure Automation Accounts, runbooks, Azure Functions, and event-driven workflows</li><li>Create Power Automate flows and Azure Logic Apps to automate operational and reporting scenarios</li><li>Administer and optimize Windows Server environments by performing system updates, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing performance.</li><li>Develop and implement PowerShell scripts to automate processes such as onboarding, alert configurations, and system remediations.</li><li>Create and maintain custom dashboards, alerts, and proactive monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.</li></ul><p><br></p>
