This role supports day-to-day technology needs across the site by keeping end-user devices, productivity tools, and related hardware operating reliably. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, clear communication with employees, and working across office and shop floor environments to resolve technical issues efficiently.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Set up, update, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment so systems remain aligned with approved software versions and configuration standards.<br>• Deliver technical support for end users by diagnosing and resolving issues involving workstations, printers, projectors, and other connected devices.<br>• Record incidents, service activity, and resolution details in ServiceNow to ensure accurate tracking and timely follow-up.<br>• Manage device inventory records and document equipment changes, including workstation deployments, relocations, and removals through established change processes.<br>• Assist employees with Microsoft 365 support needs, including Outlook, Office applications, and OneDrive, as well as common mobile device issues on Android and Apple platforms.<br>• Provide user guidance on workstation operation, business applications, and the local network environment to improve day-to-day effectiveness.<br>• Offer support for additional software tools and operational systems as needed, including equipment used within the shop floor environment with training provided.<br>• Move throughout a large facility, including stairways and production areas, to respond to support requests and complete on-site technical assistance.
<p>We are looking for an Anti-Virus Engineer to support enterprise endpoint protection operations within a federal environment. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrated security controls to protect systems, data, and infrastructure across a large-scale agency environment.</p><p>The role will lead enterprise anti-virus operations, including centralized policy management, secure configuration, signature and engine updates, and scheduled scanning activities to ensure consistent endpoint security coverage.</p><p>This position will act as an escalation point for complex malware and security incidents, performing root cause analysis and driving resolution while supporting compliance with FISMA, zero-trust initiatives, and SLA-driven service delivery.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>· Lead enterprise anti-virus deployment, configuration, and operations across workstations and servers.</p><p>· Administer centralized anti-virus policies, exceptions, and protection settings via management consoles.</p><p>· Manage signature/DAT and engine updates to maintain current threat protection.</p><p>· Execute and validate scheduled scans, updates, and endpoint protection health checks.</p><p>· Troubleshoot complex endpoint security and malware-related incidents and perform root cause analysis.</p><p>· Serve as escalation support for high-priority security incidents and restoration efforts.</p><p>· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure rapid remediation and prevention of recurring issues.</p><p>· Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation aligned to compliance standards.</p><p>· Monitor and report on endpoint security metrics including coverage, compliance, and incident trends.</p><p>· Support vulnerability remediation, POA&M tracking, and audit readiness efforts.</p>
