Develop scalable security architectures and layered security controls. Partner with infrastructure, cloud, engineering, and security teams to ensure security is embedded into new systems and technology initiatives. Develop reference architectures, reusable security patterns, and technical standards. Conduct security architecture and design reviews and identify appropriate risk mitigations. Support threat modeling, risk assessments, and security control mapping using frameworks such as NIST and CIS. Provide technical guidance on cloud security, network security, identity, and secure technology adoption. Promote DevSecOps, Git/GitOps, automation, policy-as-code, peer review, and controlled change management. Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend improvements. Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex security architecture challenges. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to security and engineering teams.
