Our client is looking for a weekend Logistics Weather Coordinator who plays a critical role in helping our drivers navigate changing weather conditions and maintain efficient delivery schedules.</p><p><br></p><p>In this role, you’ll serve as a key communication hub between operations and drivers—monitoring weather patterns that may impact routes and proactively coordinating adjustments to keep freight moving safely and on time. If you have experience in transportation or logistics operations, enjoy working with drivers, and thrive in a high-energy environment where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you.</p><p><br></p><p>What You’ll Do:</p><p><br></p><p>Monitor weather conditions that could impact transportation routes and delivery schedules.</p><p>Communicate proactively with drivers regarding potential weather-related hazards or delays.</p><p>Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to adjust routes or schedules when needed.</p><p>Support drivers in real time by providing updates and guidance during changing weather conditions.</p><p>Document weather-related delays or operational impacts to help improve future planning.</p><p>Help maintain smooth day-to-day transportation operations by staying ahead of potential disruptions.</p><p>Build strong working relationships with drivers and operations staff to ensure clear communication and quick problem solving.</p><p><br></p><p>What Makes Someone Successful in This Role:</p><p>Experience working in transportation, logistics, or dispatch operations</p><p>Comfortable communicating directly with drivers and operations teams</p><p>Ability to stay calm and organized in fast-moving situations</p><p>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills</p><p>High level of attention to detail and situational awareness</p><p>Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly when conditions change</p><p><br></p><p>Preferred Background:</p><p>Experience in a transportation company, trucking operation, logistics provider, or dispatch environment</p><p>Familiarity with transportation routes, scheduling, or driver coordination</p><p>Strong computer skills and comfort using operational systems or tracking tools</p><p><br></p><p>Why This Role Matters:</p><p>This position plays a vital part in keeping our drivers safe and ensuring deliveries stay on track—even when conditions change.
