The ideal candidate will handle a variety of financial transactions and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a retail banking environment. Responsibilities: • Process customer and business deposits, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate while issuing receipts. • Handle withdrawals, check cashing, and cash advances within authorized limits, referring complex cases to a supervisor as needed. • Operate computer systems to manage account activities, resolve inquiries, and determine balances efficiently. • Assist with night depository services, including logging bags, processing deposits, issuing receipts, and handling change orders. • Monitor accounts for memos or holds and take necessary actions before completing transactions. • Accept loan or installment payments, maintain accurate records, and forward payments for processing. • Balance the cash drawer daily, verify amounts for the vault, and manage the daily cash supply. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns within your authority and escalating unresolved issues appropriately. • Travel between branches to provide coverage for absent tellers when required. • Support vault operations by assisting in opening, closing, and balancing currency and coin counts.
