Responsibilities<br><br>o Field, organize, and execute all sourcing requests from design team<br>o Onboard new factories in accordance with expansion of product categories<br>o Maintain adherence to Development and Production Calendar, ensuring key milestone<br>o dates are met.<br>o Own Pre-Costing, negotiating to meet targets, identifying price challenges and offering<br>o solutions.<br>o Initiate seasonal proto reviews, report on pricing, MOQs and identify longer-than-normal<br>o lead times<br>o Manage proto through SMS schedules through daily direct communication with vendors<br>o Maintain clear records of fabric & trim reference library<br>o Issue and track sample material orders for SMS samples<br>o Oversee integrity of BOM details, utilizing Backbone as appropriate (bill of marterials) <br><br>Qualifications<br><br>o Minimum 7 years of experience across multiple garment categories<br>o Understanding of the design process and needs, in alignment with the brand aesthetic<br>o At least 5 years in Product Development or Production management role<br>o Experience with and understanding of technical details and characteristics across<br>o numerous fabrications and trims<br><br>o Strong sourcing capabilities<br>o At least 4 years of experience costing contemporary products or similar price points<br>o Excellent written and verbal communication skills<br>o Skilled at using Excel, Google Docs and other database systems<br>o Highly organized in reporting and physical samples
