<p>Robert Half is partnering with an Am Law 100 firm to assist in their search for a highly skilled Labor and Employment Attorney. This is a fully remote, contract-to-hire opportunity. The successful candidate must be actively barred in California.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Draft, review, and argue motions in state and federal courts.</li><li>Conduct discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery and managing depositions.</li><li>Prepare legal pleadings and correspondence with attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Perform comprehensive legal research and advise on complex labor and employment matters.</li><li>Defend employers in litigation, including wage and hour class actions, discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, and related employment claims.</li><li>Advise corporate clients on compliance with state and federal labor laws, including wage and hour regulations, workplace investigations, employee handbooks, and policy creation.</li><li>Support fact investigations, analyze case law, and prepare case summaries for ongoing matters.</li><li>Interface with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and administrative agencies as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p>
