You’ll manage our internal servers, cloud instances, and the complex web of hardware that keeps our DC headquarters and remote consultants connected. In 2026, this means moving beyond manual troubleshooting and into the world of <strong>automated infrastructure</strong> and <strong>Zero Trust security.</strong></p>

<p>What You’ll Be Doing</p><ul><li><strong>Infrastructure Management:</strong> Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers (both physical and virtual via VMware/Hyper-V).</li><li><strong>Cloud Operations:</strong> Administer our <strong>Microsoft 365</strong> and <strong>Azure</strong> environments, ensuring that "The Cloud" actually works when people need it.</li><li><strong>Security & Compliance:</strong> Implement and monitor Zero Trust architecture. In DC, we don't just "hope" it's secure; we ensure it meets high-level compliance standards.</li><li><strong>Automation:</strong> Use <strong>PowerShell</strong> or <strong>Python</strong> to automate repetitive tasks like patch management, user onboarding, and system backups.</li><li><strong>Network Triage:</strong> Support the networking team by troubleshooting VPN issues, firewalls, and SD-WAN connectivity for our hybrid workforce.</li><li><strong>Disaster Recovery:</strong> Own the backup strategy. If the power goes out in the District, you’re the one who ensures no data is lost and systems failover gracefully.</li></ul><p><br></p>
