<p>Our client is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting initiatives. This role will partner closely with data analysts, software developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the organization&#39;s data infrastructure is reliable, secure, and optimized for performance.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, modern cloud platforms, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing technologies. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in developing enterprise-wide data solutions that drive business decision-making.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration processes.</li><li>Build, optimize, and support enterprise data warehouses and data lakes.</li><li>Develop ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and load data from various internal and external sources.</li><li>Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data requirements and deliver reliable reporting solutions.</li><li>Monitor and improve data quality, consistency, and governance practices.</li><li>Optimize database performance, query execution, and overall data architecture.</li><li>Implement data security, privacy, and compliance best practices.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues across multiple systems and platforms.</li><li>Support business intelligence initiatives and provide clean, accessible datasets for reporting and analytics tools.</li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and process documentation.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering, Database Development, or related role.</li><li>Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems.</li><li>Experience developing ETL/ELT solutions using modern data integration tools.</li><li>Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.</li><li>Experience working with data warehouses and data lake architectures.</li><li>Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization, and dimensional modeling concepts.</li><li>Experience with Python, Scala, or another data-focused programming language.</li><li>Knowledge of data governance, security, and best practices.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse Analytics, Redshift, or BigQuery.</li><li>Knowledge of Spark, Kafka, or other distributed data processing technologies.</li><li>Experience supporting Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Experience working in agile development environments.</li><li>Relevant cloud or data engineering certifications.</li></ul><p><br></p>
