We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida. In this long-term contract role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud services and platforms to enhance the organization's infrastructure, applications, and data systems. This position involves a broad range of tasks, including overseeing security measures, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring the effective performance of shared resources. The ideal candidate will possess the technical expertise to lead multi-faceted technology initiatives and provide daily operational support.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Administer and maintain cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring reliability and performance.<br>• Monitor systems and applications to uphold security standards, availability, and overall system efficiency.<br>• Coordinate server configurations and administration tasks with internal teams and external contractors.<br>• Develop and implement network policies, procedures, and firewalls to optimize system connectivity and security.<br>• Troubleshoot system and application issues, perform performance tuning, and escalate complex problems to vendors when needed.<br>• Establish and manage Azure DevOps projects, repositories, and pipelines to support application development.<br>• Evaluate and recommend upgrades for servers and software to improve system performance and scalability.<br>• Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify opportunities for system improvements and cost efficiency.<br>• Lead efforts in designing and hosting complex application solutions using cloud services.<br>• Analyze network performance metrics and execute installation, configuration, and testing of equipment as needed.
