We are seeking a highly skilled Mid to Senior-Level SQL Developer for a temporary position in. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL databases, supporting analytics, reporting, and business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SQL development, database design, and performance tuning, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and related database objects including tables, views, indexes, triggers, and stored procedures.<br>• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.<br>• Implement and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for data integration and migration.<br>• Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.<br>• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.<br>• Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, processes, and workflows.<br>• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, promoting best practices and continuous learning.<br>Required Qualifications<br>• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.<br>• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software development<br>• Proven experience with major relational database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.<br>• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.<br>• Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization/denormalization, data modeling, and schema design.<br>• Familiarity with database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques.<br>• Knowledge of data security best practices, backup/recovery processes, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).<br>• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.<br>• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capability to collaborate across departments.<br>Preferred Skills<br>• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS or other BI tools.<br>• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or .NET frameworks.<br>Additional Information<br>• Employment Type: Temporary (with potential for hybrid or remote options).
