In this contract position, you will play a critical role in managing and reconciling financial accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting expert with strong attention to detail who thrives in a dynamic, non-profit environment. Responsibilities:• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations to verify financial data accuracy.• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure timely and precise reporting.• Manage accounts payable processes, including reviewing and processing invoices.• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger records.• Analyze financial data and provide insight into discrepancies or trends.• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.• Assist in the monthly and year-end financial closing processes.• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving inquiries.

• Extensive experience with general ledger accounting.• Proficiency in preparing and posting accurate journal entries.• Strong skills in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.• Knowledge of bank reconciliation processes and tools.• Familiarity with accounts payable systems and procedures.• Ability to analyze complex financial information and identify trends.• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
