Controller
<p>We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Seattle, Washington. This position is ideal for a skilled individual with a strong background in technical accounting and financial oversight, particularly within the SaaS industry. The role requires expertise in managing consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and working collaboratively with external auditors.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for both domestic and international entities.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP standards, including handling complex areas such as debt, equity, and stock-based compensation.</p><p>• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</p><p>• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate audits and address any inquiries.</p><p>• Produce high-quality deliverables, including accurate financial statement footings and rounding.</p><p>• Actively contribute to the preparation of audit-ready financial statements.</p><p>• Address and resolve issues related to consolidated financial reporting.</p><p>• Provide strategic recommendations based on financial insights and analysis.</p>
<p>• Proven experience in technical accounting, including U.S. GAAP compliance.</p><p>• Demonstrated expertise in managing consolidated financial statements.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of stock-based compensation and related accounting practices.</p><p>• Experience with month-end close processes and financial audits.</p><p>• Ability to produce accurate and high-quality financial deliverables.</p><p>• Strong communication skills for collaborating with auditors and internal teams.</p><p>• Previous experience working with international entities is preferred.</p>
