Payroll Administrator
<p>We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while supporting payroll operations for both U.S. and Canadian employees. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in payroll administration, strong knowledge of compliance regulations, and a detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and efficiency in payroll processing. This position is part time.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Assist in processing bi-monthly payroll for approximately U.S. and Canadian employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment.</p><p>• Conduct thorough reviews and audits of payroll runs to maintain compliance and identify discrepancies.</p><p>• Serve as a backup for payroll processing during critical periods, providing senior-level support.</p><p>• Evaluate existing payroll documentation and recommend improvements for streamlined processes.</p><p>• Develop updated and clear payroll procedures for internal use.</p><p>• Support year-end activities, including W-2 processing and compliance reporting.</p><p>• Collaborate with the payroll team to troubleshoot issues and enhance operational efficiency.</p><p>• Ensure multi-state payroll compliance across 30 U.S. states and adherence to Canadian payroll regulations.</p><p>• Provide guidance and expertise without disrupting the existing team dynamics</p>
<p>• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in payroll administration and processing.</p><p>• Hands-on expertise with Ceridian Dayforce payroll software.</p><p>• In-depth knowledge of multi-state payroll compliance across the U.S.</p><p>• Experience managing payroll for Canadian employees.</p><p>• Strong auditing and documentation skills to improve payroll processes.</p><p>• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</p><p>• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with internal teams.</p><p>• Familiarity with payroll operations for organizations with 101–500 employees.</p><p><br></p><p>If you're interested in this position, please apply to this position and contact Alicia Robb at alicia.robb - at - roberthalf - .com with your word resume and reference job ID# 00410-0013343210</p>
