<p>This person will fully own the codebase and technical roadmap, operate extremely hands-on, and partner closely with the founders to shape both the product and the business.</p><p>This is a <strong>builder-first role</strong>. You will write production code daily, make architectural decisions end-to-end, and help us move quickly from idea to shipped product. Over time, you’ll also act as a player-coach: setting technical standards, hiring thoughtfully, and raising the bar for a small, high-quality engineering team. <p>What You’ll Own</p><ul><li><strong>Full technical ownership</strong> of the codebase, infrastructure, and engineering roadmap</li><li><strong>Hands-on development</strong>, shipping production code daily while evolving system architecture</li><li><strong>Technical decision-making</strong> across product, scalability, reliability, and security</li><li><strong>AI-native product development</strong>, including LLMs, agents, copilots, and rapid experimentation</li><li><strong>Founder-level partnership</strong>, working closely with us on product direction, tradeoffs, and execution</li><li><strong>Hiring and mentorship</strong>, gradually building and leading a small, high-impact engineering team</li></ul><p><strong><u>What We’re Looking For:</u></strong></p><p><strong>8+ years of engineering experience</strong>, primarily as an individual contributor</p><p>Proven ability to <strong>design, build, and own systems end-to-end</strong></p><p>Writes <strong>production-quality code daily</strong> and enjoys doing so</p><p>Strong architectural instincts paired with pragmatic execution</p><p><strong>AI-native mindset</strong>:</p><ul><li>Hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, copilots, or AI-enabled workflows</li><li>Comfortable iterating quickly, testing assumptions, and shipping improvements</li></ul><p><strong>Founder-level ownership and judgment</strong>:</p><ul><li>You care deeply about outcomes, not just implementations</li><li>You make smart tradeoffs between speed, quality, and scalability</li></ul><p>Comfortable acting as a <strong>player-coach</strong>, mentoring others and hiring when the time is right</p>
