<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The Network Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure. This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient connectivity across all systems and devices, supporting business operations and technology initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Network Management & Maintenance</strong></li><li>Configure, monitor, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.</li><li>Ensure optimal network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.</li><li><strong>Security & Compliance</strong></li><li>Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.</li><li>Monitor network traffic for security threats and enforce security policies.</li><li><strong>Infrastructure Support</strong></li><li>Maintain network hardware (routers, switches, access points) and software.</li><li>Collaborate with IT teams to support servers, storage, and cloud connectivity.</li><li><strong>Monitoring & Optimization</strong></li><li>Use network monitoring tools to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.</li><li>Plan and execute network upgrades and capacity improvements.</li><li><strong>Documentation & Reporting</strong></li><li>Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and change logs.</li><li>Provide regular reports on network health and security status.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li><strong>Experience: </strong>3+ years of experience in network administration or related role.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.</li><li><strong>Skills: </strong>Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.</li><li>Familiarity with network security best practices and compliance standards.</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li><br></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Certifications</strong></p><ul><li>Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)</li><li>CompTIA Network+</li><li>Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)</li></ul>
