This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all accounting functions across seven distinct but related entities. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Controller leads financial reporting, budgeting, audit coordination, and system improvement efforts. For immediate consideration for this position, please call Lisa Cole at 916-649-0832</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and regulatory compliance for multiple entities.</li><li>Manage monthly and annual close processes in accordance with GAAP, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.</li><li>Lead the budgeting process and provide financial analysis to support executive and board-level decision-making.</li><li>Maintain strong internal controls, streamline systems, and implement best practices for efficiency and compliance.</li><li>Manage intercompany accounting, consolidations, and cash flow across multiple entities.</li><li>Serve as primary liaison for annual audits, tax filings</li><li>Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering professional growth and high performance.</li><li>Collaborate with senior leadership and participate in presentations to the board, finance, and audit committees.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>Qualifications: </p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree Accounting Finance or related field </li><li>Certified Public Accountant is required.</li><li>10 years of financial management experience</li><li>Supervisory experience of an Accounting Team </li><li>Experience with non-profit organizations, and for-profit entities.</li><li>Experience with intercompany accounting and consolidation.</li></ul><p><br></p>
