- We are looking for an experienced Sr Network Engineer to support and strengthen a hybrid enterprise infrastructure in Concord, California. This role focuses on designing, optimizing, and securing network environments that enable dependable connectivity, protected data exchange, and stable day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth across cloud and on-premises platforms, a practical troubleshooting mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design, maintain, and enhance network infrastructure across routing, switching, wireless connectivity, firewall platforms, VPN services, and hybrid Azure-integrated environments.<br>• Develop and uphold network architecture standards, technical documentation, and long-term infrastructure plans that improve performance, segmentation, and security.<br>• Administer and support a hybrid Microsoft ecosystem, including cloud and on-premises services, to ensure reliable access and operational continuity.<br>• Manage the Hyper-V environment and related infrastructure components to maintain availability, scalability, and system efficiency.<br>• Investigate and resolve complex network and connectivity issues, serving as an escalation point for advanced incidents and selected help desk matters.<br>• Oversee backup operations for critical systems and verify that recovery processes align with business continuity needs.<br>• Partner with IT leadership and security stakeholders to implement preventive safeguards and contribute to incident response efforts.<br>• Provide technical guidance to end users and entry-level team members while promoting strong service standards and timely issue resolution.<br>• Monitor industry developments, evaluate emerging technologies, and recommend improvements that strengthen the overall network environment.<br>• Travel occasionally to support offices or operational needs as required.
