<p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large‑scale GIS platform upgrade initiative. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex IT projects in alignment with established PMO standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment and brings strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery execution skills.</p><p>This role will manage multiple workstreams involving IT, business operations, and external partners, ensuring project objectives related to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and governance are successfully achieved.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and documentation objectives are met</li><li>Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders including IT teams (infrastructure, testing, cybersecurity, operations), business units, and external partners</li><li>Coordinate and govern activities performed by system integrators, including task planning, deliverable reviews, issue resolution, and change control</li><li>Ensure project execution adheres to PMO methodologies, standards, templates, and reporting requirements</li><li>Facilitate working sessions, design reviews, and decision forums related to GIS data modeling, workflows, and system integration impacts</li><li>Partner with subject matter experts to validate data models, standards, and implementation readiness</li><li>Identify and manage project risks and dependencies related to data quality, system integration, resourcing, and cutover activities</li><li>Manage project communications to ensure alignment across technical and business stakeholders</li><li>Manage project budgets, including financial planning, tracking actuals vs. plan, monthly forecasting, and accrual reporting</li></ul>

<p>Required Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Management, or a related field</li><li>10+ years of project management experience</li><li>PMP certification required</li><li>Strong understanding of project management fundamentals</li><li>Experience leading diverse, cross‑functional technical teams</li><li>Experience supporting system upgrades, migrations, or platform modernization initiatives</li><li>Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal)</li><li>Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a complex, fast‑paced environment</li><li>Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and project/portfolio management (PPM) tools</li><li>Excellent customer‑facing, decision‑making, organizational, and analytical skills</li><li>Must be local to New Jersey and able to work onsite in South Plainfield three days per week</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>Experience within the utilities industry (electric, gas, or combined)</li><li>Prior experience managing GIS‑related projects or data‑intensive platforms</li></ul>
