We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Neenah, Wisconsin. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing network infrastructure for a steel manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in network operations, troubleshooting, and system monitoring to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design, configure, and implement network solutions including switches, routers, and firewalls.<br>• Perform comprehensive troubleshooting to resolve network issues and maintain operational efficiency.<br>• Manage and monitor network systems using advanced tools to ensure peak performance.<br>• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve network infrastructure.<br>• Configure and maintain VLANs to optimize traffic flow and enhance security.<br>• Administer VMware technologies to support virtualized infrastructure.<br>• Analyze network traffic and performance to identify areas for improvement.<br>• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt and effective technical support.<br>• Implement and manage network security protocols to safeguard sensitive data.<br>• Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures for reference and training.

• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in network engineering.<br>• Proficiency in working with Cisco routers and switches, including VLAN configurations.<br>• Expertise in Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls.<br>• Strong knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and network traffic analysis.<br>• Hands-on experience with VMware infrastructure and technologies.<br>• Ability to use advanced monitoring tools for system diagnostics and performance tracking.<br>• Familiarity with Juniper routers and basic troubleshooting techniques.<br>• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction.
