We are looking for a skilled Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and managing transactional accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks and a background in the service industry. This is primarily a 100% remote position. Responsibilities:• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.• Oversee month-end close procedures, including reconciliations and adjustments.• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently.• Maintain and utilize accounting software systems to streamline operations.• Monitor budgets and provide insights to support financial planning.• Conduct audits and reviews to ensure adherence to financial regulations.• Supervise transactional accounting activities to improve accuracy and performance.• Collaborate with multiple locations to maintain consistent financial practices.• Utilize CRM tools to manage financial data and reporting processes.• Implement and optimize financial procedures to improve operational efficiency.

• Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software systems. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general accounting functions. • Familiarity with auditing processes and budget management. • Experience in using CRM tools and reporting systems such as Crystal Reports. • Background in the service industry is highly preferred. • Ability to work remotely and manage financial operations across multiple locations. • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
