<p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to support a portfolio of initiatives within a research-driven environment. This role will oversee a mix of infrastructure, data, and application-focused projects, including high-performance computing (HPC), AI-related initiatives, and laboratory systems.</p><p>This is a hands-on delivery role requiring someone who can operate independently, manage cross-functional teams, and drive projects forward without heavy oversight.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Manage end-to-end delivery of technical and infrastructure projects</li><li>Coordinate across cross-functional teams including engineering, research, and IT</li><li>Oversee projects related to:</li><li>Data center and hardware deployments</li><li>High-performance computing (HPC) environments</li><li>AI-related initiatives and tools</li><li>Laboratory systems and data migration efforts</li><li>Internal application development and enhancements</li><li>Drive timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication</li><li>Support onsite coordination during critical events (e.g., hardware installs)</li><li>Leverage tools (including AI where applicable) to improve efficiency in project tracking and reporting</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li>Looking for <strong>local candidates in the Memphis area</strong></li><li>Onsite presence required <strong>as needed</strong> (primarily for key milestones such as hardware installations)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why This Role</strong></p><ul><li>Long-term contract with strong extension potential</li><li>Opportunity to work on <strong>cutting-edge research, AI, and infrastructure initiatives</strong></li><li>Highly collaborative, technical environment with meaningful impact</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in technical or IT environments</li><li>Experience managing <strong>infrastructure, data center, or hardware-related projects</strong></li><li>Strong ability to work independently with minimal direction</li><li>Comfortable managing multiple projects across different teams</li><li>Experience working in <strong>Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments</strong></li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Exposure to <strong>high-performance computing (HPC)</strong> or research environments</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>AI tools (Copilot, Claude, automation tools)</strong> for workflow optimization</li><li>Experience with DevOps teams or cloud-based systems</li><li>Experience with ServiceNow or similar project tracking tools</li></ul><p><br></p>
