Front Desk Coordinator
We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to support daily front office operations in Melbourne, Florida. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience for visitors while keeping phone and administrative workflows organized. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for guests and callers, helping ensure the front desk runs smoothly each day.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a courteous manner and guide them to the appropriate person or area.<br>• Manage a multi-line phone system, respond to incoming calls promptly, and direct inquiries to the correct department or staff member.<br>• Maintain an orderly reception area and support efficient day-to-day front office operations.<br>• Provide front desk assistance such as handling check-ins, general information requests, and basic concierge-style support.<br>• Process electronic payments accurately and follow established procedures for recording transactions.<br>• Monitor incoming messages, route communications efficiently, and escalate urgent matters when needed.<br>• Assist with scheduling, administrative coordination, and other clerical tasks that support office functionality.
• At least 1 year of experience in a front desk, receptionist, or similar customer-facing administrative role.<br>• Ability to manage inbound calls using a multi-line phone or switchboard system.<br>• Experience providing detail-oriented receptionist and guest service support.<br>• Familiarity with processing electronic payments with accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Strong verbal communication skills and a courteous, service-oriented approach.<br>• Ability to stay organized, handle multiple tasks at once, and remain composed in a busy environment.<br>• Reliable availability for a Monday through Friday schedule.
