<p>We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves maintaining and enhancing legacy applications while utilizing your expertise in PHP, jQuery, and MySQL. You will play a key role in modernizing outdated systems and ensuring optimal performance in a Linux-based environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Maintain and update legacy PHP applications to ensure functionality and performance.</p><p>• Utilize PHP 7.4.33, jQuery, and MySQL to troubleshoot and enhance applications.</p><p>• Analyze outdated libraries and recommend effective upgrade paths.</p><p>• Debug applications locally by downloading and running code to identify issues.</p><p>• Migrate applications between servers while ensuring minimal downtime.</p><p>• Work within Linux-based server environments to optimize system operations.</p><p>• Collaborate on applications hosted in WordPress environments.</p><p>• Provide clear technical recommendations and solutions to improve system efficiency.</p><p>• Communicate findings and next steps effectively with stakeholders.</p>

• Proven experience in maintaining and modernizing legacy PHP applications.<br>• Proficiency in PHP 7.4.33, jQuery, and MySQL.<br>• Familiarity with Linux-based server environments.<br>• Ability to analyze and update outdated libraries.<br>• Experience debugging code locally and resolving technical issues.<br>• Knowledge of migrating applications between servers.<br>• Understanding of WordPress-hosted applications.<br>• Strong communication skills to present technical insights and recommendations.
