We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Itasca, Illinois. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and testing of innovative software solutions that meet business needs. If you have a strong background in Java development and a passion for creating efficient, scalable applications, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Collaborate with business stakeholders, lead developers, and the software development director to create and implement new features and products.<br>• Write clean, efficient code using Java, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks within IntelliJ.<br>• Work independently or as part of a small team to deliver high-quality software solutions.<br>• Participate actively in requirement gathering and design discussions to align technical objectives with business goals.<br>• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.<br>• Troubleshoot and refine code to improve usability, performance, and scalability.<br>• Optimize database queries and address issues in relational and NoSQL databases to enhance system performance.

• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.<br>• Experience in high-volume transactional environments.<br>• Minimum of three years of experience as a Java developer.<br>• Proficiency in Java development using the Spring Boot framework.<br>• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6.<br>• Solid grasp of computer systems, internet functionality, database management, and Java programming concepts.<br>• Familiarity with programming fundamentals such as conditionals, loops, and data structures.<br>• Strong skills in relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, and the ability to optimize and troubleshoot queries.
