<p>Robert Half is looking for AR / Credit Manager Consultant for our client located in Irwindale, CA. The AR Billing and Collections Manager will oversee the company’s accounts receivable function, including billing, collections, cash applications, and customer account reconciliations. This interim AR position will work along side AR Supervisor and help implement best practices to optimize cash flow, minimize risk, and maintain positive customer relationships. The role will be located onsite/ hybrid in Irwindale, CA.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>-Personally manage and execute weekly billing cycles, including invoice creation, review, and submission to customers and portals.</p><p>-Monitor and perform daily cash application processes, ensuring payments are matched to correct invoices</p><p>-Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unallocated cash by collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, and Customers.</p><p>-Analyze AR aging reports; identify trends, risks, and reconcile AR subledger.</p><p>-Proficient with Excel and high volume transactions.</p>

• Proven experience in commercial credit and collections management.<br>• Strong expertise in credit analysis and decision-making processes.<br>• Ability to approve and manage credit terms with customers.<br>• Proficiency in subledger accounting and reconciliation.<br>• Advanced Excel skills for handling high-volume financial data.<br>• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities to resolve billing and payment issues.<br>• Leadership experience in managing and developing teams.<br>• Familiarity with accounts receivable processes in the food and food processing industry is preferred.
