Responsibilities for the IT Security Analyst:• Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and reports to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.• Coordinate investigations and responses to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.• Perform vulnerability assessments and oversee the implementation of remediation measures to strengthen security.• Manage user access controls, enforce multi-factor authentication, and maintain oversight of privileged accounts.• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance-related documentation.• Collaborate with IT operations to enhance security measures across endpoints, servers, and network devices.• Conduct phishing simulations, awareness campaigns, and cybersecurity training to educate employees.• Ensure accurate asset inventory tracking, system baselines, and effective patch management processes.• Partner with external vendors and managed security providers to address incidents and escalations.• Prepare detailed documentation and evidence for both internal and external audits.

• At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security-related roles.• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center and Azure Active Directory.• Familiarity with security configurations for Windows 11 and Windows Server environments.• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools and assessment methodologies.• Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation principles.• Experience with cybersecurity compliance frameworks, including HIPAA regulations.• Ability to troubleshoot basic network issues and manage patch deployments.• Solid knowledge of cloud security fundamentals and platforms like AWS and Azure.
