We are looking for an experienced Cloud Developer to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. This is a Contract position where you will take on a leadership role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure automation, with a focus on security and scalability. Responsibilities: • Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins, ensuring integration of security and quality checks. • Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure automation solutions using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. • Oversee container orchestration efforts using Kubernetes and manage cloud-native services on AWS GovCloud. • Establish and promote enterprise-level DevSecOps reference architectures and reusable pipeline templates. • Integrate security controls, automated testing, and quality gates into all stages of the software development lifecycle. • Guide platform engineering teams in creating sustainable, automated solutions for deployment and environment configurations. • Ensure compliance with Zero Trust architecture principles, including identity, network, and data protection. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-based solutions that align with organizational goals. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevSecOps squads, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency. • Drive the adoption of state-of-the-art tools and methodologies to enhance system performance and security.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering, with at least 5 years in DevSecOps leadership roles. • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, and Jenkins, along with expertise in Kubernetes and Docker. • Hands-on experience with AWS technologies, including AWS GovCloud, EC2, and Auto Scaling. • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. • Familiarity with security integration tools such as Snyk, Aqua Security, and Checkmarx. • Programming skills in Python, Go, and Bash to support automation and system development. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and must be eligible to work in the U.S. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
