Information Architect
<p>We are seeking a senior-level <strong>Information Architect</strong> for a <strong>6+ month contract engagement</strong> to design and support enterprise data and analytics solutions. This role will focus on building scalable information architectures, semantic models, and data structures that enable robust business intelligence and reporting capabilities across the organization.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Define and maintain enterprise information architecture to support analytics and reporting initiatives.</li><li>Design and optimize <strong>semantic and dimensional data models</strong> aligned with business requirements.</li><li>Lead data warehousing initiatives using industry-standard methodologies and best practices.</li><li>Partner with business stakeholders, BI teams, and engineering teams to translate analytical needs into technical solutions.</li><li>Provide hands-on expertise in <strong>SQL</strong>, including complex query development, optimization, and validation.</li><li>Establish architectural standards, governance, and best practices for data and analytics platforms.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field</strong>.</p><p><strong>10+ years of experience</strong> in information architecture, data architecture, business intelligence, report development, and data modeling.</p><p>Strong expertise in <strong>semantic modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts</strong>.</p><p><strong>Expert-level SQL proficiency</strong>.</p><p>Hands-on experience with <strong>cloud platforms</strong> such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred).</p><p>Experience with modern data platforms including <strong>Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or Databricks</strong> (preferred).</p><p>Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.</p>
