Data Entry Clerk/AP
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk/AP to join our team on a part-time contract basis in Garfield Heights, Ohio. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage data entry tasks with precision and efficiency. The position will be onsite, offering a flexible schedule of 20 hours per week, with consecutive workdays preferred.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Enter and maintain accurate data into company systems, ensuring completeness and consistency.<br>• Process accounts payable transactions with attention to detail and adherence to company policies.<br>• Utilize software tools, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Great Plains, and Business Central, to complete tasks efficiently.<br>• Verify and review data for errors, making necessary corrections promptly.<br>• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.<br>• Maintain organized records and files for auditing and reference purposes.<br>• Assist with general administrative tasks as needed to support department operations.<br>• Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance and accuracy.<br>• Communicate effectively with internal teams to address queries and provide updates on task progress.<br>• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on system changes.
• Proven experience in data entry and accounts payable roles.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with Great Plains and Business Central.<br>• Strong typing skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.<br>• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.<br>• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.<br>• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.<br>• Prior experience in an onsite work environment preferred.
