Controller
<p>We are looking for a skilled and experienced Controller to join our team in Fresno, California. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Your expertise will play a key role in maintaining fiscal integrity, analyzing financial performance, and fostering growth within the organization.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage the company's accounting policies, budgeting, and job costing processes while ensuring compliance with internal controls and organizational standards.</p><p>• Analyze and interpret financial and statistical data to evaluate profitability and operational performance against budgetary goals.</p><p>• Lead the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives.</p><p>• Oversee the month-end closing process, including reconciliations, journal entries, inventory analysis, and financial report generation.</p><p>• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and prepare capital expenditure requests with detailed justifications.</p><p>• Conduct job costing analyses to verify cost accuracy and project financial outcomes effectively.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including payroll, sales tax, and corporate taxes, while managing timely report submissions.</p><p>• Collaborate with various departments such as manufacturing, sales, and engineering to provide financial insights and support.</p><p>• Mentor and develop accounting team members, providing coaching and performance evaluations to encourage continuous growth.</p><p>• Partner with the Shared Services team to manage disbursements, credit terms, and collection procedures.</p>
• At least 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.<br>• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.<br>• Proficiency in US GAAP and its application in financial reporting.<br>• Demonstrated expertise in managing month-end close processes.<br>• Experience in implementing and maintaining effective internal controls.<br>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.<br>• Proven ability to lead and develop teams, fostering collaboration and growth.<br>• Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
