We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and optimize the accounts payable operations within our client's organization. This role will oversee a team of 6+ direct reports and report directly to the Controller, ensuring efficient and accurate financial processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and expertise in accounts payable functions, along with a passion for driving organizational excellence. Responsibilities:• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, coding, and payment issuance.• Supervise and mentor a team of 6+ direct reports to ensure high performance and attention to detail in their development.• Oversee vendor management processes, including maintaining positive relationships and resolving discrepancies.• Ensure timely and accurate execution of check runs and other payment transactions.• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance within accounts payable operations.• Collaborate with the Controller to align accounts payable functions with overall financial strategies.• Monitor accounts payable metrics and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.• Address and resolve escalated issues related to accounts payable and vendor communications.• Maintain accurate and organized financial records for auditing and reporting purposes.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial management role. • Proven expertise in invoice coding, check runs, and payment processing. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively. • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities. • Proficiency in vendor management and resolving payment discrepancies. • Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and with external vendors.
