<p>A global consumer products organization is seeking a Controller – Financial Systems & Operations to support accounting leadership, financial reporting, process improvement, and finance technology initiatives.</p><p>Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role blends technical accounting expertise with financial systems, reporting, analytics, and operational improvement. The company recently implemented a new ERP platform and is focused on enhancing reporting capabilities, automation, business intelligence, and financial decision support.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader who enjoys improving processes, leveraging technology, and driving meaningful business impact.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Accounting & Finance</p><ul><li>Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.</li><li>Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses.</li><li>Assist with consolidated reporting, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and treasury activities.</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and executive reporting.</li><li>Strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.</li></ul><p>Systems & Analytics</p><ul><li>Help optimize and enhance ERP and financial reporting systems.</li><li>Partner with IT and business leaders on process improvements and automation initiatives.</li><li>Develop and improve Power BI dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting.</li><li>Deliver financial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.</li></ul><p>Audit, Compliance & Leadership</p><ul><li>Support SOX compliance, audit activities, and financial reporting requirements.</li><li>Lead cross-functional process improvement projects.</li><li>Mentor accounting team members and serve as a key business partner across the organization.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Required</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.</li><li>Strong background in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, inventory, fixed assets, treasury, consolidations, and internal controls.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred</strong></p><ul><li>Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or comparable ERP experience.</li><li>Power BI reporting and dashboard development.</li><li>Manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, or inventory-intensive industry experience.</li><li>CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p>
