We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Edison, New Jersey. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and managing month-end closings for a steel manufacturing company. This opportunity offers a chance to contribute to the financial stability and growth of the organization.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.<br>• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and precise reporting.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to assess financial performance and identify areas for improvement.<br>• Oversee the preparation of detailed financial reports for company leadership.<br>• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all financial activities.<br>• Monitor and maintain the integrity of financial data within company systems.<br>• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.<br>• Coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders during audits and reviews.<br>• Develop and implement strategies to streamline financial processes and reporting.<br>• Support budgeting and forecasting activities to align with organizational goals.

• Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.<br>• Strong expertise in managing month-end close processes.<br>• Familiarity with accounting principles and regulatory compliance.<br>• Proficiency in financial software and tools.<br>• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.<br>• Strong communication and organizational abilities.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
