Network Security Admin
<p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Manager, IT Network Infrastructure, the IT Network Security Admin is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to client's network systems 24/7.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>· Maintaining and administering networking security tools</p><p>· Perform escalated troubleshooting for network issues</p><p>· Configuring and installing various networking security devices and services</p><p>· Manage all SLAs</p><p>· Performing maintenance and upgrades for security configurations or end-of-life equipment cycle</p><p>· Communicate with customers of all updates</p><p>· Work with established configuration and change management system to ensure policies for awareness and approval are correctly upheld</p><p>· Work closely with selected vendors for projects and new technology implementations</p><p>· Deeper troubleshooting through diagnostic tools and techniques</p><p>· Determines the best solution based on the specific issue</p><p>· Escalates unresolved issues to next-level support</p><p>· Performs daily maintenance and reporting</p><p>· Performs additional duties as required</p><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><p>· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related, or equiv. work exp.</p><p>· 4+ Years working in a customer support role</p><p>· 2+ Year of Cisco Troubleshooting Experience</p><p>· CCNA certified or higher (CCNP highly valued) </p><p>· Excellence in both written and verbal communications</p><p>· Strong organization and project management skills</p><p>· Strong Network security understanding</p><p>· Understanding of least privilege and zero trust concepts</p><p>· Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed</p><p>· Willingness to travel</p><p>· Good knowledge of Internet security and data privacy principles</p><p>· Excellent troubleshooting skills</p><p>· Exceptional organizing and time-management skills</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Product/Technology Experience </strong></p><p>· Cloudflare</p><p>· Cisco Umbrella</p><p>· Cisco Ironport</p><p>· Certificate management</p><p><br></p><p><strong>*Please note, this position is onsite Monday-Friday at our client's office in Johns Creek.
