Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst
We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to support end users within the import/export industry. This Contract position is ideal for someone with solid computer knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to pick up new tools quickly. The role requires someone who can manage support needs accurately while working both independently and in coordination with a remote team.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide front-line technical assistance for desktop, software, and user access issues, ensuring timely and accurate support.<br>• Troubleshoot Windows-based workstation problems and resolve common technical concerns related to hardware, applications, and connectivity.<br>• Manage and update service desk tickets with clear documentation, accurate status notes, and appropriate follow-up actions.<br>• Support user account administration tasks, including basic Active Directory activities such as access updates and account maintenance.<br>• Use Microsoft Teams to participate in training sessions, communicate with colleagues, and coordinate support efforts with remote team members.<br>• Learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and support processes to maintain effective user assistance as business needs evolve.<br>• Maintain a high level of accuracy when recording issue details, user information, and resolution steps.<br>• Work independently to address assigned requests while collaborating with the broader support team to resolve more complex issues.
• At least 1 year of experience in help desk, desktop support, or a similar technical support role.<br>• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, including Windows 10 environments and basic desktop troubleshooting.<br>• Familiarity with service desk ticketing workflows and the ability to track requests in an organized manner.<br>• Experience supporting or maintaining user accounts in Active Directory.<br>• Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for communication, training, and collaboration.<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.<br>• Proven ability to learn new applications and systems efficiently.<br>• High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and thorough documentation.
