We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Decision Engine Team in Columbus, Ohio. This position focuses on developing and optimizing real-time customer engagement strategies by leveraging advanced data engineering techniques. As part of a collaborative team, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining the infrastructure necessary to deliver personalized, data-driven messages across various customer channels. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and impactful projects. Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and manage scalable data pipelines that support real-time decision-making and marketing initiatives. • Collaborate with marketing, analytics, IT, and modeling teams to ensure seamless execution of customer messaging strategies across multiple channels. • Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability. • Enhance and integrate decision engine platforms, including tools such as Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, and Unica Interact. • Automate workflows and reporting processes using technologies like Python, Tableau, or cloud-based tools. • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments to maintain system efficiency. • Participate in the deployment of new features and upgrades to the decision engine software. • Manage and catalog curated data assets to facilitate enterprise-wide reuse and governance. • Provide guidance on best practices for data testing, quality assurance, and pipeline optimization.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or data quality roles, including the use of machine learning or cloud computing. • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or R, and familiarity with data tools like Glue, Athena, or Tableau. • Strong understanding of database technologies, including MySQL, and experience with large-scale data pipelines. • Hands-on experience with data testing, quality frameworks, and troubleshooting complex data workflows. • Knowledge of campaign management or decision engine platforms such as Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, or Unica. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and tools for version control and automated builds. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.
