We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining data systems that support business objectives. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, the position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a dynamic team.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows using ETL processes.<br>• Implement and maintain big data solutions leveraging Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements and ensure seamless integration.<br>• Develop scalable and efficient data models to support business intelligence and analytics.<br>• Write clean, maintainable Python code for data processing and transformation.<br>• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure reliability and performance.<br>• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security standards.<br>• Provide technical support and guidance for the implementation of data solutions.<br>• Document system architecture and processes to maintain clarity and consistency.<br>• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering.

• Proficiency in Apache Spark and Hadoop for big data processing.<br>• Strong experience with Python programming for data-related tasks.<br>• Hands-on knowledge of Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.<br>• Expertise in ETL processes to design and manage data workflows.<br>• Ability to work with complex data systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.<br>• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br>• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
