We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, expertise in financial data analysis, and advanced Excel capabilities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting month-end close processes and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Responsibilities: • Manage month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts. • Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions. • Utilize advanced Excel skills, such as formulas, macros, and automated scripts, to streamline data analysis and reporting. • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights. • Collaborate with team members to enhance the efficiency of financial processes. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards. • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports as required.

• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry preparation. • Expertise in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation procedures. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, macros, and scripting. • Ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings effectively. • Familiarity with accounting principles and standards. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
