<p>We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As part of our team, you&#39;ll play a key role in ensuring financial excellence while working alongside experienced team members in a collaborative and growth-driven environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee the company’s daily treasury operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.</p><p>• Provide support to the Controller and other accounting team members with assigned tasks and responsibilities.</p><p>• Lead and mentor two team members in the accounting department on a day-to-day basis.</p><p>• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to refine accounting processes and procedures.</p><p>• Act as a financial resource for non-accounting staff and external business partners.</p><p>• Develop expertise to become a highly skilled financial specialist within the construction industry.</p><p>• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and audits.</p><p>• Utilize industry-specific software to manage financial data effectively</p>

<p>• Active CPA license or successful completion of the CPA exam with certification in progress.</p><p>• At least three years of relevant accounting experience, with construction industry knowledge preferred.</p><p>• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.</p><p>• Proficiency in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and financial reporting.</p><p>• Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment focused on continuous improvement.</p><p><br></p>
