<p>We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead the development and integration of eCommerce platforms and architectural systems for a prominent consumer product company in Charleston, South Carolina. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to guide a multidisciplinary team in delivering scalable and reliable solutions. The role also involves close collaboration with product owners and stakeholders to ensure technical strategies align with business objectives.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Supervise and mentor a diverse engineering team tasked with developing and supporting eCommerce platforms and integrations.</p><p>• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to transform functional requirements into robust technical solutions.</p><p>• Define and oversee system architecture for eCommerce platforms, integrations, and related technologies.</p><p>• Establish and maintain coding standards, development workflows, and release processes to ensure quality and consistency.</p><p>• Conduct code reviews, plan sprints, and manage release schedules to optimize development efficiency.</p><p>• Research and assess emerging tools and technologies to enhance scalability and performance.</p><p>• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system integrations and platform functionality.</p><p>• Implement and monitor DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.</p><p>• Evaluate and integrate product information and content management tools to streamline operations.</p>

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.<br>• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading technical teams, particularly in eCommerce or digital commerce environments.<br>• Demonstrated expertise in systems integration, including APIs, RESTful services, webhooks, and middleware platforms.<br>• Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and related system architecture.<br>• Proficiency in relational databases and knowledge of data management systems.<br>• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing methodologies.<br>• Strong analytical and communication skills to translate business needs into technical strategies.<br>• Experience with product information management or content management tools is advantageous.
