<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Software Developer III</strong> with strong expertise in middleware technologies and modern web services. This role involves coding, testing, and maintaining software applications to support internal business requirements and external customers, while ensuring operational readiness of middleware applications hosted in AWS.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain software applications adhering to design specifications.</li><li>Standardize quality assurance procedures and oversee testing, implementing fixes as needed.</li><li>Monitor and maintain operational readiness of middleware applications, including AWS-hosted systems.</li><li>Identify opportunities for system enhancements to improve functionality and simplify administration.</li><li>Configure and test system changes, including reports, security access, and workflows.</li><li>Coordinate configuration changes in production environments.</li><li>Collaborate with BA/QA teams to create test plans and ensure proper issue resolution</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5–8 years of experience.</li><li>Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in software development.</li><li>Expert-level skills in building highly scalable services (SOAP and REST).</li><li>Proficiency with <strong>Core Spring Framework</strong> and sub-projects (Spring JMS, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Integration).</li><li>Skilled in building modern RESTful web services.</li><li>Experience with <strong>Python</strong>, <strong>Django</strong>, and scripting languages (Ruby a plus).</li><li>Familiarity with API consumption, HTTP, and TCP/IP protocols.</li><li>Ability to mentor and coach team members on coding practices and design principles.</li><li>Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work under general supervision.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional Skills (Preferred)</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with lab-based testing, hardware/embedded systems validation.</li><li>Proficiency in C/C++ firmware development for embedded platforms.</li><li>Ability to operate lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).</li><li>Root-cause analysis for hardware/software integration issues.</li><li>Development of automated test tools or scripts.</li></ul>
