<p><strong>Role:</strong> IT Manager – Data Centers</p><p> <strong>Location:</strong> Glendale, CA (Onsite 5 days/week)</p><p> <strong>Compensation:</strong> $180,000 base + annual bonus</p><p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p> We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead enterprise data center operations for a highly regulated, mission-critical environment. This role replaces a long-tenured manager and owns both people leadership and hands-on infrastructure oversight. The focus is reliability, process, compliance, and operational excellence—not an IT Director role.</p><p><br></p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and develop a team of 5 infrastructure engineers</li><li>Own operations across 9 data centers (no travel required)</li><li>Manage data center infrastructure: power, cooling, heating, racks, servers, storage, and virtualization</li><li>Oversee Nutanix (or similar HCI), backup, DR, monitoring, and patching</li><li>Drive IT policies, standards, documentation, and audit readiness</li><li>Ensure uptime, security, and compliance in a regulated environment</li><li>Balance <strong>~60% management / 40% hands-on</strong> (initially more hands-on)</li></ul><p><strong>Must-Have Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>6+ years as an IT Manager in a data center–heavy environment</li><li>Strong Nutanix or comparable HCI platform experience</li><li>Deep understanding of data center operations (power, cooling, hardware lifecycle)</li><li>Proven strength in IT policies, procedures, and process design</li><li>Experience supporting compliance frameworks (SOX, ITAR, DFARS, or similar)</li><li>Hands-on background with Windows/*NIX, virtualization, storage, and backups</li><li>Comfortable working onsite 5 days per week</li><li>U.S. Person status required due to regulatory environment</li></ul><p><br></p>
