- We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join a growing oil and gas services organization in Conroe, Texas on a Contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with accounting experience who brings recent NetSuite experience and is comfortable handling both payables and receivables in a deadline-driven setting. The position offers the opportunity to support a busy finance team with accurate transaction processing, invoicing, and day-to-day accounting coordination.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Record and process accounts payable and accounts receivable activity in NetSuite with a high level of accuracy.<br>• Review financial information from QuickBooks and enter data correctly into NetSuite to maintain reliable accounting records.<br>• Handle payable workflows for a large vendor base, ensuring invoices are entered and tracked in a timely manner.<br>• Administer receivable transactions involving a smaller number of invoices with significant dollar values.<br>• Support customer billing activity across multimillion-dollar invoicing volume while maintaining completeness and precision.<br>• Partner with the accounting team during ongoing system-related accounting work and help keep financial data organized and current.<br>• Communicate with internal team members to clarify transaction details and resolve accounting questions efficiently.<br>• Contribute to additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed to support daily operations.
