We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Bryan, Ohio. This role is integral to overseeing the company’s financial operations, including income statements, cash flow planning, and month-end processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a family-oriented environment with flexible work hours and opportunities for career growth.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and analyze daily income statements to ensure financial accuracy.<br>• Manage cash flow planning and oversee business planning activities.<br>• Lead month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.<br>• Supervise and support a small accounting team, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit functions.<br>• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.<br>• Collaborate with leadership to support strategic financial decisions.<br>• Utilize Macola software for financial reporting and management.<br>• Maintain compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.<br>• Provide insights and recommendations for achieving revenue growth goals.<br>• Work closely with external consultants to facilitate smooth transitions and improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.<br>• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, including leadership of small teams.<br>• Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Excel and familiarity with Macola software.<br>• Solid experience in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and process improvement.<br>• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a collaborative approach.<br>• Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.<br>• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and growing business environment.
