This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving process improvements to support organizational growth. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.<br>• At least five years of progressive accounting leadership experience, with a minimum of three years in supervisory roles.<br>• Strong knowledge of nonprofit and fund accounting, including GAAP and FASB standards.<br>• Prior experience in a nonprofit environment is highly desirable.<br>• Proficiency in banking systems, cash management, and financial operations.<br>• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive communication within teams.<br>• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.<br>• Expertise in accounting processes such as month-end close, grant accounting, and financial statement preparation.
