Apply today!</p><p><br></p><p>Job Details:</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday–Friday, standard business hours (PST)</p><p> <strong>Duration:</strong> 6+ month contract (potential to extend)</p><p> <strong>Location:</strong> Remote (WA preferred)</p><p><br></p><p>Job Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using Python.</li><li>Build and enhance cloud-native microservices and event-driven applications in AWS.</li><li>Develop reusable components and shared libraries to improve engineering efficiency.</li><li>Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.</li><li>Implement unit, integration, and performance testing strategies to ensure production readiness.</li><li>Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated builds and deployments.</li><li>Participate in architectural design discussions to drive scalable and secure solutions.</li><li>Support root cause analysis and resolution of production issues.</li><li>Apply best practices for observability, monitoring, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.</li><li>Mentor engineers and promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<ul><li>7+ years of enterprise software development experience.</li><li>Strong backend development experience with <strong>Python</strong>.</li><li>Experience designing and delivering <strong>RESTful APIs</strong>, including authentication and API lifecycle management.</li><li>Experience with <strong>API Management platforms (Apigee preferred)</strong>.</li><li>Strong experience building <strong>AWS cloud-native, serverless, and event-driven applications</strong>.</li><li>Experience with <strong>SQL and NoSQL databases</strong>, data modeling, and performance optimization.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices</strong>.</li><li>Experience with automated testing frameworks and software testing best practices.</li><li>Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and logging/monitoring solutions.</li><li>Experience working in Agile environments.</li></ul>
