<p>Our client, a leading law firm in Baltimore County, seeks an experienced Mass Tort Paralegal to join their dynamic team. This is an opportunity to play a key role supporting attorneys working on complex, high-volume litigation focused on mass tort cases.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Provide substantive legal support to attorneys on mass tort matters, including case development, discovery, and trial preparation.</li><li>Manage and organize case files, medical records, and client documents for large groups of plaintiffs.</li><li>Draft correspondence, shell pleadings, and discovery documents.</li><li>Communicate with clients, co-counsel, and court staff to keep cases moving efficiently.</li><li>Perform legal research, summarize depositions, and prepare detailed reports.</li><li>Maintain databases and case management systems for high-volume litigation.</li><li>Assist with filing and service of court documents and deadlines tracking.</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Minimum three years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on mass tort or complex litigation.</li><li>Strong understanding of litigation processes and e-discovery.</li><li>Proficiency with legal practice technology and case management software.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication abilities.</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.</li></ul><p><br></p>

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, e-file systems, and document management software.<br>• Familiarity with e-discovery platforms and the ability to manage large volumes of case data.<br>• Strong skills in reviewing, interpreting, and summarizing medical records, including use of medical and legal terminology.<br>• Excellent organizational abilities, time management, and multitasking skills.<br>• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail when handling sensitive matters.<br>• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience as a litigation or medical malpractice paralegal.<br>• Paralegal certification or associate’s degree; healthcare-related education or legal credentials are preferred.<br>• Knowledge of civil litigation processes, trial preparation, and case management software.
